Instead of exchanging gifts for Christmas, we are asking the kids to bring in 1 gift unwrapped for a boy or girl to be donated to Toys for Tots. Thanking for thinking of this charity at this time of year!
Its time to Decorate the room. Bring in any Christmas decorations that you want to put up in the room to give it a more festive look. Tuesday from 1-1:45pm we will decorate the room as you see fit!!!!
The Cardinals were blessed again to make it back to the World Series. As promised another party as the progress farther through the post season! Its time to celebrate! Go Cardinals!!!
Salem Jr High: the Electives summary has been revised ever so slightly. Here it is for you to look at. Please remember your elective sheets are due Monday, August 29th.

Schools is going to begin before you know it. Don’t forget that August 23rd you are required to be at the 5-8th grade computer pick up assembly. After that we will have a sports information meeting that is mandatory for all those interested in going out for sports.
My classroom is C-4. You can come by on that day and pick up your homework assignment. You may also get your locker assignments that day. Looking forward to meeting you and having a great school year.

Welcome back! Its good to see you! Well, I can’t see you, but I am imagining what you look like. Some of you need to comb your hair. Hey, you…BRUSH your teeth!
Things to know for the first week. You need to be at school to pick up your computers on August 24th. I believe the time for that is 3:30pm. Remember there is an athletic meeting at 2:30pm. You should be there. Even though you think you have heard it before, we are doing athletic sign up that day. So, if you are planning on playing on a team in the fall you need to sign up on that day.
Bring a lock for your locker on that Tuesday too. There is a homework assignment for you as well to be picked up and brought back on the first day of school.
If I have forgotten anything, sorry. You will figure it out. My classroom is C-4…because its explosive, if you don’t get that joke, then its going to be a long year for you!
